Dan Patrick and his SAMSON monster truck has been in competition since 1988.

The following are just a few highlights of Dan's career to date:

-    2008 – 2009 – 2010  South Pacific World Finals I, II & III  Racing Champion

-    1993 Chevrolet Solid as a Rock Award Winner

-    First monster truck to break the 5-second barrier with a 4.983
run at the 1994 4-Wheel Jamboree in Bloomsburg, PA

-     1994 MTRA Truck of the Year and Sportsman of the Year

-     1996 MTRA Sportsman of the Year and Wreck of the Year

-     1992 Retired SAMSON truck was permanently displayed inside the RACE ROCK
restaurant, Orlando, FL from Feb. 1996 until June 2007.

-     Participated in the 1997 Motor Madness series, the first to be shown
live on prime-time television.

-     1997  MTRA Safety Award

-     1998  MTRA Safety and Truck of the Year

-     2000-2003  Competed in ProMT Truxpo Monster Truck Racing
Series and major NASCAR Facilities

-     Finished second in the 2003 Monster Truck Challenge Series

-     2005  Dan and SAMSON were featured on a National Geographic Channel
show detailing the evolution of monster trucks

-     2006  SAMSON has become a regular on the Outdoor Channel's
Monsters of Destruction Series and leads the points race in both
straight line and obstacle course racing.

-     2007  Finished third in the inaugural MLMT Championship.
